The site was acquired by the owners of the adjacent property to increase options for accommodating their expanding family, and to incorporate the existing dock.
The house is a pavilion anchoring the end of the extended property which includes several striking structures. The massing approach is accordingly simple, establishing a strong presence for the house while remaining consistent in detail and material with the existing buildings.
