Manchester-by-the-Sea House
The project is an addition to a nineteenth-century Swedish log cabin brought to the site in the 1940s and used as a vacation house. The owner, who had spent his childhood summers in the house, moved in permanently and decided that an addition was needed to accommodate his growing family and to allow year-round residence in a more energy-efficient structure.
